My ceremony with Zara was nothing short of life-changing. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely cared for. Every detail was thought ofโnourishing food, pure water straight from Mount Shasta, and a space that immediately felt safe and sacred. For the first time in a long time, I was able to fully relax and allow myself to simply be.
There was a music night held in the space the day I arrived which felt like divine timing-I felt my inner child come alive again, free to laugh, sing, and play in a way I hadnโt in years.
The ceremony itself was a beautiful co-creation. We picked flowers for the altar, set our intentions with reverence, and infused the space with Reiki, filling it with a sacred, supportive energy. Zaraโs presence as a facilitator was absolutely perfectโgentle, grounded, and deeply intuitive. She is a profoundly gifted and special woman. The music she curated and played, from her singing to her sound bowls, guided me through the experience like a loving companion.
When the medicine began its work, Zara held me with so much compassion. She was present when I needed her, even without words, and gave me space when thatโs what I needed most. She carried me through the intensity with such grace, especially as I released and purged. I never felt alone for a moment.
What has unfolded since has been even more miraculous. I have struggled with autoimmune issues for years, with doctors eventually offering little more than resignation. But ever since this ceremony, I have stopped all of my medicationsโand each day since, I feel stronger, healthier, and more whole.
This ceremony marked a turning point in my healing journey, not only for my body, but also for my spirit and soul. I am endlessly grateful to Zara for creating such a sacred container, for holding me with such deep care, and for reminding me what true healing feels like.
